EDB may finance Kazakh mine purchase by Russian Copper Company

ASTANA, May 25 (PRIME) -- The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) may finance the purchase of a mine on the territory of Kazakhstan by Russian Copper Company, CEO of the bank Dmitry Pankin told reporters on Wednesday.

“Russian Copper Company wants to buy a copper mine on the territory of Kazakhstan. They asked us and this is interesting to us. We are considering the project,” he said.

Pankin did not disclose further details of the project.
